Rodney Carrington

Concerts in the Black  Hills area are starting to wrap up because of the cold weather. There are not as many concerts in the winter as there are in the summer. The Deadwood Mountain Grand has concerts year-round though. On Friday, October 5, Rodney Carrington will be playing at the Deadwood Mountain Grand. The concert will begin at 9:00pm. The tickets are $39.

Rodney Carrington is an American stand-up comedian, actor, and country music artist. His comedy acts typically combine stand-up comedy and original songs. He has many albums in the categories: studio, compilation, holiday, live, single, and music videos. His studio albums include: Hangin' with Rodney, Morning Wood, Kings of the Mountains, El Nino Loco. His compilation essay is called Greatest Hits. The holiday album is called Make It Christmas.

    I think I've heard his stand up a little, and it seems like I've heard him on the radio, too, but I don't remember which song. He seemed funny, though.
