22nd Annual Deadwood Jam

Even though the summer is coming to an end and school is starting to start, there are still some concerts going on in the Black Hills. The 22nd Annual Deadwood Jam will be help September 14-15 in Historic Deadwood. Styx, the Stray Cat Lee Rocker and Augustana will be the headlines for this event. Tickets will be $60 for the 2 days of concerts.

Augustana will be on Friday September 14. Augustana is an American rock band from San Diego, California. Their first album All the Stars and Boulevards was released September 6, 2005. Their third album Can't Love, Can't Hurt was released on April 29, 2008. Their fourth album, self-titled, was released on April 26, 2011. Their singles include: Stars and Boulevards, Boston, Sweet and Low, I Still Ain't Over You, Steal Your Heart, and Just Stay Here Tonight.

Styx and Stray Cat Lee Rocker will be on Saturday September 15. Styx is an American rock band that became famous in the 1970s and 1980s. This band is from Chicago. They have many albums. Some of their singles include: Best Thing, Lady, You Need Love, Lorelei, Mademoiselle, Crystal Ball, Come Sail Away, Fooling Yourself, Blue Collar Man, Sing for the Day, Renegade, Babe, and Too Much Time on my Hands. Stray Cat Lee Rocker is a trio from New York. They started in 1979. They are commonly knows as either Lee Rocker or the Stray Cats.

The local bands that will play on September 14th are: Groove Daddy and Indigenous. The local bands that will play on September 15th are: Loaded Dice, Synthetics, Fly Paper, Harper and Native Run.
